We’re halfway through fall, which means that
mania is at an all-time high—and now is the perfect time to enjoy it. For your evening fix, a cocktail shaker and take the autumnal craving to the next level with a pumpkin pie martini! (Yes, we’re going there.)
Last year, the espresso martini swooped in as
the United States’ favorite cocktail
, with sales increasing 300% over the previous three years. The resurgence of the ‘90s cocktail has furthered the popularity of the classic martini. Meanwhile, Starbucks'
pumpkin spice latte
changed the
face of fall in 2003
—the company has sold more than 600 million PSLs since its debut.
Now, these sweet beverages are coalescing into one delicious cocktail. The hashtag
has generated more than 430k views on TikTok, with influencers sharing their version of the delightfully creamy, pumpkin-cinnamon concoction.
To craft yours, we recommend looking to Ashley Hankins of
Eat Figs, Not Pigs
, whose vegan pumpkintini is simple, seasonal, and easy to make at home. (You can even make use of your
pumpkin waste
by making the pumpkin purée from scratch!)
Follow along and enjoy a cozy (tipsy?) night in!
