If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love a good donut. “Vegan donuts near me” is one of the first things I Google when visiting a new city, and I almost always end up with a mouth-watering option in hand. But now that I know I can make my own donuts at home—right in the air fryer, nonetheless—I may never go a day without the dreamy dessert ever again.

Olivia Biermann, known as Liv B—the vegan cookbook author behind Liv B’s Vegan on a Budget and Liv B’s Easy Everyday—recently shared a recipe for chocolate donut holes on Instagram. Not only are they super easy to make, but they also utilize ingredients you likely already have at home.

“These chocolate protein air-fryer donut holes are so easy to make,” she says. “Use your favorite chocolate protein powder, plus some cocoa for extra chocolatey flavor, and don’t skip the glaze. It makes them so good.”

Want to make a batch of vegan chocolate air fryer donut holes yourself? Follow along with Biermann’s recipe below.
