Emma Chamberlain knows her way around a quippy take, a cup of coffee, and apparently, homemade peanut butter. During a recent appearance on First We Feast’s Hot Ones, the influencer shared her peanut butter opinions, along with some pro tips for making your own.
“I prefer an all-natural—just peanuts and salt—vibe. That’s the best,” says Chamberlain. “I think the reason for that is that I like peanut flavor.” While she likens JIF to icing, Chamberlain does have a duo of secret ingredients for sweetening things up at home: vanilla bean and dates.

Emma Chamberlain’s Peanut Butter Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups dry roasted peanuts
2 dates
Vanilla bean to taste
Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor.
2. Blend until the butter has reached your desired texture, pausing as needed to scrape the sides of your processor and incorporate.
