Joey King Shared 5 Sustainable Beauty Products She Uses Every Day

If you don’t currently have a girl crush on Joey King… how? The actress is everywhere. She’s the star of the beloved Kissing Booth trilogy, had a scary-good performance in The Act, and can now be found kicking butt in the recently-released movie The Princess.

Suffice to say, the girl has been busy. But not too busy to take the time to share her morning routine with her 10 million TikTok followers. In her new “get ready with me” video, which now has nearly four million views, she revealed all her go-to beauty products—many of which happen to be clean and sustainable.

According to King, her pre-filming routine is simple: She hops in the shower, puts on a quick outfit (because after she gets to work, she “changes almost immediately”), and applies her daily beauty products to a clean face.

While no beauty product is perfect, these options have qualities that make them more planet-friendly picks than other options on store shelves. So if you’ve been on the lookout for sustainable beauty products to add to your own routine, these are Joey-approved.

Joey King’s 5 Go-To Eco-Friendly Beauty Products

1. Sunday Riley AutoCorrect Eye Cream, $65

The first step in King’s beauty routine is eye cream. “I get really dry under my eyes,” she says. This bestselling product from Sunday Riley depuffs and brightens with ingredients like caffeine and Brazilian ginseng root extract. The brand is B Corp Certified, cruelty-free, only works with responsible suppliers, and uses a zero-waste oil process.

2. Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Face Oil, $40

Another Sunday Riley favorite, King uses this oil on both her face and her neck. “I love the way it makes my skin feel,” she says. It gives the skin a boost with vitamin C and turmeric. Like the brand’s other products, it’s also cruelty-free and uses a zero-waste oil process.

3. MALIN+GOETZ Eucalyptus Deodorant, $22

If you’re been on the lookout for a new natural deodorant to try, King is a big fan of this pick from MALIN+GOETZ. “This is one of my favorite natural deodorants,” she says. “I actually feel like it helps me stop sweating, even though it doesn’t have any bad stuff.”

The vegan and cruelty-free product is free from aluminum, alcohol, parabens, and more. It also comes in recyclable polypropylene packaging.

4. Supergoop Glow Stick, $25

Next comes eco-friendly sunscreen. Stick deodorants are increasing in popularity—they’re so easy to toss in your bag and swipe on when you’re out and about. King says it’s something she’s wanted to try, and this option from Supergoop was her top pick.

“I’ve never used a stick sunscreen before,” she says, “but I’ve heard good things so I’m going to start doing it.”

Supergoop’s Glow Stick is free from a long list of ingredients, including parabens, palm oil, and oxybenzone. (Yep, it’s clean and reef-friendly!) It’s also water- and sweat-resistant for up to 40 minutes.

5. Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion, $16

King doesn’t stop there—she protects the rest of her skin from the sun’s rays as well. Next comes “more sunscreen for the rest of me, besides just my face,” she says. Her go-to is this option from Sun Bum. It’s hypoallergic, reef-safe, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and vegan. The bottle is also recyclable.
