Everyone Is Talking About Hailey Bieber’s $17 Vegan Erewhon Smoothie—Here’s How to Make It at Home

"Don't want to pay $17 for Hailey Bieber's famous Erewhon smoothie? Here's how to make a planet-friendly version right at home."

Hailey Bieber has been making headlines lately for her just-released skincare line, Rhode. And what better way to kick off the launch than by releasing a skin-supporting smoothie with Erewhon Market?

In true Erewhon fashion, the luxury California supermarket chain’s “Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie” is $17. Aka not a super affordable option for anyone who wants to try it for themselves. While the high price tag is due to ingredients like collagen and sea moss, you can make a more affordable—and sustainable—version at home using ingredients you likely already have on hand.

By DIYing your own Hailey Bieber smoothie at home, you skip the plastic cup and lid. You can also cut down the ingredients list. Steph, the content creator behind @bevsbybeverly, created an easy-to-follow version that’s naturally vegan: frozen strawberries, dates, avocado, almond milk, and a little maple syrup for added sweetness. Sounds delish, right?

If you want to go the extra step, it’s the coconut cream and strawberry glaze that take the smoothie to the next level. Simply use canned coconut cream and create your own glaze by blending up some fresh strawberries.
