When cooked up just right (in this case, that means air-fried) and coated in an appropriate sauce, cauliflower florets provide a delicious chicken alternative that everyone can enjoy, which is a refreshing concept.

This vegan dupe packs all of the bite of a classic wing, sans the environmental impact that comes with animal agriculture. Prepare a batch for weekend gatherings—or just for some easy and moderately healthy nosh.

Here, a simple recipe for vegan cauliflower wings that is sure to find fans.

How to Make Vegan Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

1 large head cauliflower, broken into florets
1 cup gluten-free flour
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pepper
1/2 alternative cup milk of choice
1/2 cup hot sauce of choice

Instructions:

1. Add flour, powders, pepper, and milk to a bowl. Mix until smooth.

2. Add cauliflower florets and mix until fully coated.

3. Transfer to air fryer. Bake at 375 degrees for 14 minutes.

4. Coat cooked florets in hot sauce. Bake for another 6 minutes.

5. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
