Selena Gomez Launched a Sustainable New Cookware Collection with Our Place
selena-gomez-our-place-collection

The Always Pan is an ethical and sustainable kitchen staple that’s beloved by many Brightly team members. And it turns out Selena Gomez is a fan, too. So much so that she just teamed up with Our Place to launch two new limited-edition colors that are bound to sell out quickly.

Our Place has branched out from its neutral hues in recent months, even adding a neon green to its lineup. But the colors in the Selena Gomez Collection—azul (a vibrant electric blue) and rosa (a lush berry pink)—are hard to beat.

“My main goal when I’m cooking is to have fun,” Gomez says. “This collection is designed for home cooks like me who just need easy-to-use, multifunctional products.”

There are two main products in Gomez’s collection: The Always Pan ($145), as well as the Perfect Pot ($165). But that’s not all! You can also get plates, drinkware, and knives in azul and rosa, too—check them out below.

What’s especially cool about these kitchen staples is that they’re not just sustainable—Our Place is also immigrant and women-owned, and a portion of the profits from this collection in particular go toward a good cause.

“We’ll be donating 10% from all profits to expand mental health services with Rare Beauty’s Rare Impact Fund,” Gomez says. “Time to get cooking!”

If you’ve been looking for some sustainable kitchen swaps that will last for years to come, shop Gomez’s full collection below.

1. Always Pan, $145

This internet-famous pan truly does it all, replacing eight pieces of cookware. That means there’s no need for a separate fry pan, sauté pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, nonstick pan, spatula, and spoon rest.

2. Perfect Pot, $165

This isn’t your average pot. It replaces your stockpot, dutch oven, saucepot, roasting rack, steamer, strainer, braiser, and spoon rest. And, it can boil, crisp, bake, braise, roast, steam, strain, pour, serve, and store. No big deal.

3. Main Plates, $50 for 4

These hand-painted, easy-to-stack plates are sustainably made from recycled and virgin porcelain ceramic. They’re also dishwasher-safe,microwave-safe, and have a lip that prevents messes.

4. Drinking Glasses, $50 for 4

These dishwasher-safe glasses are sustainably made from recycled glass and natural sand, and they’re naturally dyed with elements from the earth. Use them for iced coffee, wine, and beyond.

5. Knife Trio, $145

This stainless steel knife set covers all your bases. The Everyday Chef’s Knife is for “sturdy chopping and all-the-time use,” the Serrated Slicing Knife is for “anything soft and squishy or hard and crusty,” and the Precise Paring Knife is for “those tinier (but very important) tasks.”
