You Can Make Nut Milk in Record Time with This Simple Trick
how-to-make-nut-milk-scaled

When it comes to dairy alternatives, nut milks like almond milk and cashew milk are pretty far up there in popularity. You’ll often find a variety of brands in the dairy section of the grocery store, or as a non-dairy alternative at your local coffee shop.

Nut milks are considered such great options not only because they’re better options for the planet, but also because of their longevity and creamy, nutty taste. But what if we told you that you can make your own nut milk at home in record time using nut butter—something you likely already have in your pantry?

Though opting for plant-based milks are already great in terms of reducing your carbon footprint, you can reduce a lot of waste (and same money!) by making it yourself. If you have any kind of nut butter at home—from peanut to almond to cashew—you can use the recipe below to make a creamy option perfect for your morning coffee, cereal, and your favorite recipes. No clunky cartons needed.

How to Make Nut Milk with Nut Butter

What You’ll Need

1 Tbsp nut butter of choice
1 cup water

Instructions

1. Add your nut butter and water into a blender.
2. Blend for two minutes.
3. Once it’s smooth, sip and enjoy!
