Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy… the Peanuts gang is a memorable cast of characters. And now, they are out to remind conscious consumers just how easy it is to take small steps every day that better the world around us.
In celebration of Earth Day 2023 and the Take Care with Peanuts initiative, we’ve partnered with Peanuts® to spread awareness to Take Care of the Earth. Our just-launched Brightly x Take Care with Peanuts Collection will help you live sustainably this month and beyond.
What Is the Take Care with Peanuts Initiative?

Peanuts launched the Take Care with Peanuts Initiative in 2020 to inspire people around the world to take care of themselves, each other, and the Earth.
"We came up with the project idea in 2019," says Melissa Menta, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Peanuts Worldwide. "It really stemmed from our partners like [Brightly] and our partners around the world, and saying that we needed to be more mindful. And we also really needed to do something about the environment."
Peanuts has partnered with organizations like the American Red Cross (to encourage blood donation), the Arbor Day Foundation (to plant trees around the globe), and more to further its messages of care and camaraderie.
How the Brightly x Take Care with Peanuts Collection Was Born

To mark our collaboration with Peanuts, our team came together and created a selection of merit badges to commemorate particularly eco everyday moves. Think "Picked Up Litter" featuring Pigpen, or
"Ate All the Leftovers" featuring Snoopy.

"We tried to think through some of these very low-lift type activities that we do every day, and activities that we like to encourage everyone to do," says Brightly founder Laura Wittig. "We created these little merit badges to help people get excited about doing some of those actions, and then we took that concept a step further and made a print-out of the badges."
In addition to the print, our capsule collection features Snoopy Dryer Balls, Character Pop Up Sponges, and more, all designed to make your daily habits more sustainable.
