Bite Toothpaste Bits Review: We Tried Eco-Friendly Toothpaste
caitlynnygaard_bite5-scaled

We all brush our teeth and so if you’re thinking about going zero-waste, trying out Bites toothpaste tablets is a great and easy swap! They’re packaged in cute little glass jars and are entirely plastic-free making them ideal for travel, when you’re on the go, or if you just want to spruce up your bathroom with a cuter looking item. Even their packaging is recyclable and they provide a refill service so you won’t have jars piling up by your sink.

We gave our Scouts the opportunity to clean up their act (pun intended) with these toothpaste tablets and they had so much fun trying out the bamboo toothbrush and various flavors of the tabs.

(Disclaimer: We did not pay any of our Scouts to review these products, but they did receive the products for free. Join our Scouts program if you want a chance to participate in the next product drop!)

Bite Toothpaste Review: What Our Scouts Thought

“I never thought about toothpaste being so unsustainable- not only with toxic ingredients, but also the use of so much plastic packaging. I hope someday Bite samples will be given to you at the dentist after a checkup, instead of the sample toothpaste tubes packaged in non-recyclable packaging! The toothpaste bits are so convenient compared to a regular tube of toothpaste. I can see myself bringing Bite bits along as I travel. This product comes in a glass bottle, which is amazing compared to a plastic tube. ” —Caitlyn Nygaard

“As I began to think about all the toothpaste I’ve ever used, it made me realize how small changes can really add up over a lifetime when it comes to sustainability. I wasn’t too sure about it in the beginning because it was so different from the average toothpaste experience, but I really enjoyed it. It kind of foamed up while brushing, and always left my teeth feeling clean.” —Kelsea Cole

“I always felt a little skeptical using toothpaste bits because I was never sure about how it’d be. This was my first time using Bite and I absolutely love how it doesn’t take up too much space and is plastic free! It definitely has expanded my knowledge of an eco-friendly lifestyle because, for whatever reason, it never dawned on me that there are tons of toothpaste tubes being used and thrown away daily.” —Rubilyn Loanzon

“I love the taste of the bits– they left me with a fresh breath and clean teeth. I also loved the cute glass bottles that they came in. Not to mention, the bamboo toothbrush had amazing bristles that were soft but did not flatten down after just a few uses. Bite is such a great option for people looking for a sustainable plastic free toothpaste option. These work well and I can’t wait to order more! ” —Leslie Smith

“This is my first time trying sustainable toothpaste but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. It took some getting used to but I honestly love them. They give the same effect as normal toothpaste while helping the environment. I now know that there are products like this one out there that serve as great alternatives to normal toothpaste. It makes me wonder if bigger companies are going to follow in their footsteps.” —Kaitlyn Lowery

“Before this I didn’t really know/think about an eco friendly alternative to toothpaste and this has definitely changed that. I’ve already recommended this product to a friend!” —Mahder Teferra
